ZeptoLab’s Pudding Monsters comes to the Switch in about as direct a form as possible, right down to requiring you to play in handheld mode due to forcing touch controls and portrait mode. Not like you’re going to see a whole ton of other spiritual successors to that game. If you happen to be one of those folks with fond memories of Quest 64, you may want to drop the tenner. The combat system is different, but you can certainly see the inspiration. Well, every game is someone’s favorite, I suppose. A little further investigation shows that the developers were hoping to pay homage to Quest 64 with this game. But there were only a few games I would say even lightly brushed up against the JRPG genre on the system. ![]() Usually when someone tosses out a ’64’, they mean the Nintendo 64. This game describes itself as a “throwback to old 90s ’64’ styled JRPGs", and that immediately had me thinking. ![]() I’ll have a review of this soon, but in terms of features it’s almost identical to Ratalaika’s other recent emulation efforts. ![]() Between this and the Valis Collection, we are positively drowning in Turbo games on Switch lately. Though this isn’t saying much, it’s probably the best game in the Moto Roader series. Anyway, this is a Sprint-style single-screen racer. Well, here’s another Masaya game, but this time it comes from one of the other 16-bit consoles: the PC Engine CD. In recent months, Ratalaika has rereleased a couple of Genesis games from Masaya on modern platforms. I’ll have a full review of this one soon, but Atelier fans can dive in without fear. Turn-based battles, crafting, and lots of colorful characters. But for now, we’re checking back in with the protagonist of 2015’s Atelier Sophie to see what she got up to after she left Kirchen Bell. We’ve spent the last couple of years with Ryza, and I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of her. Here’s your regular dose of Atelier fluff. Let’s get to it! I wasn't focusing on visiting any buildings but I achieved it while looking at the Shell displays in the museum. Whenever I repaired a building, I enter it straight away after it's completion. I am very sure I visited all the accessible buildings but still no achievement. I unlocked every single bridge and gate/arch in Castaway and can travel to each place. For some reason I can't get this achievement.
